SoCal Barn Doors Shipping and Delivery Policy:

We're thrilled to craft your personalized barn door using top-quality materials, precisely tailored to your specifications. As you anticipate the arrival of your custom door, it's crucial to be informed about certain details to ensure a smooth process.

  • Upon shipment, the freight company will reach out to coordinate delivery. It is imperative that you promptly finalize delivery arrangements. Failure to do so may result in additional freight charges and storage fees, potentially including return shipping to SoCal Barn Doors and reshipping of the product. Any extra freight charges incurred due to delays in delivery are the customer's responsibility.

  • Our doors are meticulously packaged in custom-built protective wood crates to safeguard them during transit. While we take every precaution to protect your door, unforeseen incidents during transportation may occur. It is your responsibility to promptly inspect the door from all sides, review all specifications, and report any damage within 48 hours of receiving the shipment.

  • Avoid leaving your door exposed to the elements in its crate, even if finished in our facility, as adverse weather conditions may affect it. Relocate the crate to a sheltered area and remove the door at your earliest convenience.

  • Retain the crate until you are fully satisfied with the product, as it may be needed for returns. SoCal Barn Doors can provide another shipping crate for an additional crate build fee plus shipping cost if the original one is disposed of or destroyed before confirming your satisfaction.

  • Curbside delivery is included for non-oversized orders, with the freight company responsible only for curbside delivery. Oversized doors, as identified during the build process and checkout, may require additional assistance for unloading. You may need to pick up the product at a freight hub based on its size and your location. While most crates can be handled by four strong individuals, additional help or a forklift may be necessary in some cases. The shipper and freight company are not liable for extra costs related to the delivery or pickup of oversized crates.

  • If your location poses challenges for the delivery truck, you may need to meet the truck at the closest accessible point to your curbside.

  • Please refrain from scheduling product installation until it has arrived, and you are fully satisfied. SoCal Barn Doors is not responsible for any installation or rescheduling fees incurred by contractors.

  • Carefully inspect your product before installation, as SoCal Barn Doors is not accountable for any costs associated with installation or de-installation, including contractor or installer fees, travel expenses, or product transportation, for any reason, including manufacturing issues.

  • In the event of a manufacturing responsibility error, we can only arrange pickup from the original drop-off location.
